We have all had that felling that God is calling us to do something, but then what do we do we ignore it. Take me for example: in my first year of college I was training to be a mechanic. Half way through my first year I felt God calling me to train to be a paramedic. But I carried on the path that I was on, and I finally finished my National Diploma with triple Distinction. I then went to university to do a Foundation Degree in engineering, which I have nearly finished. In the second term I got a ST. John's ambulance training program and I chucked it, then still in the second term I got another training program from ST. John's ambulance. I started to think that it meant nothing, that it was just an error, but just before going home for Easter I had a dream that I was a paramedic. Then I knew it wasn't nothing, I knew it was God. I started to talk to my friend J and they thought the same as me. And now I am hoping to do God's calling for my life.
While doing the Foundation Degree everything went wrong and I didn't enjoy what I was doing. This is because I was doing it under my own power and strength, not God's. And that is what a lot of us do, we think that we can do everything without help but the truth is we can't, because with God nothing is impossible. We just have to let God move in us and through us and to not ignore Him. I encourage you if God is calling you to do something don't sit on it, act on it.
